The new Peugeot 508 sees the introduction of a new Euro 6i engine: the 1.6l THP 165 S&Si. Thanks to this new 165 hp engine, it is possible to achieve reduced CO2 emissions as low as 129 g/km (BVM6).

BlueHDi ENGINES

BlueHDi is the name of the brand's Euro 6 Diesel engines. This technology drastically reduces Nox (carbon monoxide) emissions by more than 90%, curbs CO2 emissions and boosts fuel efficiency while virtually eliminating particulates (99.9 %).

With CO2 emissions of just 105 g/km in the saloon car and SW versions, the 2.0l BlueHDi 150 BVM6 engine promises to be the best available option for this level of power within its segment. Likewise, the new version of the 2.0l BlueHDi 180 EAT6 has been approved for the saloon car at CO2 emissions of 111 g/km - one of the best power to fuel consumption ratios available within its segment.
