The new 1,2L PureTech 130 S&S Peugeot 308i introduces the new PureTech petrol-fueled three-cylinder turbo engine with a manual 6-speed gearbox or automatic 6-speed transmission EAT6i (Efficient Automatic Transmission 6). This compact, modular engine is a concentrated dose of leading-edge technology and efficiency.

BlueHDi technology
BlueHDi is the official name of the brand's Euro 6 diesel engines. This technology drastically reduces the NOx (by more than 90%), CO₂ emissions and fuel consumption while continuing to eliminate 99.9% of the exhaust particulates.i

The new Peugeot 308 is available with three types of BlueHDi engines: the 1.6l BlueHDi 100 with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.6l BlueHDi 120 with a 6-speed manual gearbox and the 2.0l BlueHDi 150 with a manual gearbox or 6-speed automatic EAT6 (Efficient Automatic Transmission 6).
